Easter Blessings

With the shops full of Easter bunnies, chicks, bonnets and chocolate eggs let us reflect on the true reason for the season.  Jesus Christ came to teach us how to live and he chose to endure a horrendous death on the Cross as a sacrifice for all our sins.  He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords who rose triumphant over death to give us New Life.

Join with us in a celebration of His Victory, His Sacrifice, His Grace and His Love.

Christmas Appeals 2010

Preparations are already underway for the above Appeals and we need your support. This year we are aiming to supply 450 children's shoe box gifts, 150 presents for patients at a mental hospital and 35 gifts for elderly people on the Widow's Mite Project.  Help us put a smiles on many faces this Christmas.  We collate shoe box gifts and also make up presents from January to October each year in readiness for early transportation to Romania.

Our good friend, Sheila has been busy covering boxes so please contact me if you want the joy of filling one yourself.  However, if you feel it on your heart to support in another way, then we would be glad to receive any of the following items enabling us to make up gifts at Ramoth Christian Centre:

Toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap. other small/medium toiletries, face clothes or sponges, handkerchiefs/paper tissues, brushes/combs, small mirrors, manicure and pedicure sets, nailbrushes, disposable razors, hairbands, slides etc, key rings, wallets, purses, notebooks, colouring books, stationery, pencil cases, calculators, maths sets, coloured paper and stickers, toys (incl. rattles), cards and board games, soft toys and dolls, games, puzzles, crafts, novelty toys, balloons, hats, scarves (woolen and silk), gloves, underwear, socks, tights, slippers, small clothing items, baby bottles and feeding mugs, toddler bowls, cutlery, dummies, bibs, disposable nappies, watches, small clocks, torches, jewellery.

We value your support.

I'm back!!

Yes I'm back on air!!  I apologise for the lack of contact due to a variety of reasons.  Thanks to our good friend Ray my main PC is up and running again.  I spent most of 5 weeks from mid February working 3 days per week for my old employer, Powys County Council.   Even though it was nice to be back among former colleagues and friends I am pleased that this commitment is behind me so that I can concentrate on the charity and church work which is so dear to my heart.  I have continued to run the Little Lambs Mother Toddler Group on a Monday which is thriving.

In between helping with Church ministries and doing fund raising Table Top Sales, Wayne has been very busy renovating a property his parents want to sell in the Rhondda which has been a long term commitment.  I have been helping with the painting this past few weeks and we give thanks that works are drawing to a close.

I hope by now you have all  had the opportunity of reading our latest newsletter and Easter Greeting.  You can obtain up to date reports on the ministries in Romania by accessing Pastor Jackie's blog via this website.  My next Mission Trip will hopefully be in May.
