We arrived safely here in Romania at lunchtime today to a warm greeting from Pastor Jackie and our hosts, Mama Maria and family. We are thrilled to be back and ready to serve. The weather is even a bit milder than back home and there is no snow yet. Earlier we had a meeting with Pastor Jackie to discuss our schedule and distribution of gifts.
We have a busy time planned but firstly tomorrow morning we are worshipping at the Metanoie Baptist Church here in the city and later at Vinga Church which Jackie pastors. Monday we are out all day in remote villages in the Judet of Timisoara delivering food baskets, Christmas gifts and other essential items for the widows. Tuesday we are at Mocrea Mental Hospital and Wednesday we are sorting and packing gifts all day for the patients. This is just for starters but we are so blessed each day.
We admit to being a little weary having spent last night at Luton Airport so we are turning in now.
