A snapshot of rural life

Its been a long day.  We left at 7 this morning and returned home at 10.30pm.  We travelled over 200 kilometres to a remote village called Veridia near the Serbian Border to spend value time with 5 elderly ladies being supported on the Widows Mite Project.  We talked about their lives and the difficulties they face in trying to survive on the minimal pensions.  It was very humbling.  I will write more about individual cases when I have more time.  First here is a snapshot of rural life.
