Journal - Day 5 - Sunday 7th December - Baptismal Service

Its the Lord's day-early pick up by Pastor Jackie and her grand-daughters, Sarah and Elizabeth.  We are off to a Baptist Church  in Timisoara to witness the Baptismal Service of Rebecca who is resident at the O Children's Home.  Jackie & I have been involved in the lives of Rebecca and her sister Julie for many years.  They were rescued from extremely difficult circumstances several years ago and their mother is now in a Psychiatric Hospital.    Thank you to Cerbu and Nadia who gave them a home, full of love and security.

The work in Romania is often very challenging but today  we are rejoicing and giving thanks to the Lord for what he has done in the lives of these 2 beautiful girls - it was an emotional time for Jackie & I.     We bought flowers and gifts for the girls.  We met the new house parents at the Children's home - one of the Pastors from this church and his wife.    Cerbu and Nadia will be returning to live in New Zealand some time next year but will continue to run the charity and visit Romania.

The Widows Mite Project is desperately in need of funds to buy winter wood,  I am doing all I can to ensure that additional funds are made available from the Charity.
