The RR Shoe Box operation room in Arad

Awoke early this morning to a covering of snow and drop in temperature.  It is my daughter Caroline's birthday today and I gave her a quick call this morning before going out for the day.  I am blessed to have her - she is amazing and such a wonderful mum to our beautiful grandson, Morgan.  I hope she has a wonderful day.

Our friends and loyal supporters of RR Peter and Christine from Norwich have a home on the outskirts of Arad where they keep one room as our shoe box operation base in Romania.  For many years they have transported over around 60 shoe boxes from Hainford School in Norwich designated for the San Nicolau Mic Kids Club and Music School.  The operations room houses contains a large stock of fillers  (sent over from the UK) which we use to top up boxes as we check them.   They also store many other much needed items such as toys and woollens.

Christine and I spent  the day working on the boxes and sorting out the stock - another half day required to get it into order..  Peter cooked us lunch and kindly kept us going with cups of tea.
